The Oku Japan staff got together for a retreat in historic Asuka this summer.
This year was our first annual get together, where the Sales and Operations teams met to discuss ways to improve our company and customer service.
Each year, we will meet in a different place and this year we decided to travel to the small town of Asuka, with it’s stunning rice fields and great local cuisine.
We stayed at a traditional Japanese lodge with fantastic views of the local area, sampled delicious local cuisine, walked around beautiful rice paddies and also cooked our own nabe hot-pot dish.
The retreat was a great success – we are constantly looking for ways to improve our tours and level of service to make your trip even better.
